Traveler
(John 3:8) (2 Corinthians 4:16-18)

The earth is not by destination
I'm heading towards a heavenly nation.
I'm leaving behind all that weighs me down,
cause I'm gonna depart from this barren ground.
I don't waste my time with earthly treasure you know
cause it ain't coming with me when I go.
All I can bring, all that I can take
are the sisters and brothers here that I make.

Chorus
I'm just a traveler through space and time
and this world is no longer mine.
This is not my place, this is not my time or space.
I'm just a traveler, see it in my face,
I'm just a traveler.

I'm a citizen of another race,
in another world, another point and case.
Just a stranger passing through this land,
I'm waiting to touch the Master's hand.
People staring at me know I don't belong,
I'm like an alien, they know something's wrong.
I'm a foreigner, I don't fit in,
I'm on a blood bought trip out of this world of sin!

(TRANSITION)
Children, holy nation, arise in the light of God's salvation.
We are blood sister and brother, we love and care for each other.
One Spirit, One Savior, One call divine, adopted into the royal line.
No longer divided, we stand as one, in the presence of God's Son.
We're just travelers, just passing through. We're travelers,
it's true.

CHORUS
