They say that we're all evolutionary accidents,
ships adrift on a sea of chance.
But Jesus says that God loves each of us
He sees life with a little more romance.
They say we're all numbers in a sea of machines
little ones and zeros with no name or face,
but Jesus says that God knows each of us and
that we have a meaning and a purpose and a place.
CHORUS
You've got to make a choice -
which one's the contradicting voice
to the truths you say that you believe?
His voice is calling you -
but my friend it's up to you,
which side will you reject, which side will you receive?
Is Jesus who He claims to be,
the God of all eternity,
or just another lamb who's lost his way?
He says up, they say down -
someone's lost and someone's found
He says, He says - they say, they say.

They say they're spilling blood on every street,
as the violence and the hatred tears our towns apart,
but Jesus says, "Learn to love your enemies,
forgive your brother from your heart, your heart" . . .
They say, "Dog eats dog, so take it while you can!"
survival of the strongest as they trample on the weak,
but Jesus says there will come a day of JUSTICE
when the EARTH is GIVEN to the KIND and the MEEK.
CHORUS
It's easy to get down and depressed
when you come home and watch the evening news.
They play a song so sad, well
Jesus plays a different tune but you've got to choose.
They say, "There's no meaning to this life that we live,
and truth is just a simpleton's point of view."
But Jesus says, "There is so much more -
God Himself can inhabit you!"
