Jesus said "Love your enemies, bless those who curse you,

Now that don't sound like it's easy,
but was it easy for him to die for me and you?
Since Jesus forgave us we ought to return the favor
and forgive others too.

Even good days sour, your frown is striking poses,
you can't feel the warm sun shining,
you don't stop to smell the roses;
cause you thinkin' bout the wrong and all the dirty done ya,
no one wants to be around ya and you wonder why they shun ya
but Jesus said "Cast your burdens on me"
so give Him those tears and He'll set you free.
Then you'll feel the sun a shinin' and your smile might wander home,
and that's the way things ought to be.
